ExpoScreen Tutorials: an Interactive Presentation in an Hour

Lesson 1. Create a project

1. Sign up — it is free, no card required.
2. In your dashboard click "New project", enter a name (for example, "CES 2027 booth") and optionally add a cover.
3. The editor opens with three panels: look-and-feel settings on the left, a live preview in the center, structure and media library on the right.

Lesson 2. Upload your media

1. In the right panel click "Add media files".
2. Upload everything your presentation needs: photos (PNG, JPG), videos — and slide decks as PDF, PPTX or PPT files: the slides become swipeable on the touch screen.
3. A project holds up to 10GB with no limit on the number of files. Reorder files by dragging.

Lesson 3. Build the section structure

The most important lesson. A presentation is a tree: folder menus with content inside.

1. A "Folder" is a menu screen made of cards with covers. A visitor taps a card and goes inside.
2. Put content inside a folder: "Presentation", "Video", "Static image" — or nested folders (for example: "Products" → "Series A" → product cards).
3. Click "Add menu point" in the "Project structure" panel, pick the item type and attach a file from the media library — the title fills in automatically from the file name.
4. Every item can have a cover — that is what visitors see on the card. Change the order by dragging.

Lesson 4. Customize the look

1. The left panel controls the design: background (color, image or video), logo and its position.
2. Menu card style: colors, font, corner radius, shadow, cards per row (1–4).
3. Screensaver: videos or images that play while nobody is at the screen — a touch returns to the menu.
4. Every change shows instantly in the central preview — you build the design without a designer.

Lesson 5. Pick a control mode

1. Touch mode — visitors browse sections on the touch screen themselves. The default for booths and kiosks.
2. Remote — the presenter drives the big screen from their phone or tablet while moving around the booth.
3. Clicker — a regular presenter clicker flips slides, just like in PowerPoint.

Lesson 6. Download and run

1. Check the project in the preview — everything is free up to this point.
2. Click "Pay for project", then "Start build" and pick a platform: Windows or macOS. When the build is ready, the "Download application" button appears.
3. Install the finished app on your touch screen device. No internet is needed at the venue — it runs fully offline.
4. Need a change? Update the content in your dashboard and rebuild the project for free — an update takes about 15 minutes.
